In these unprecedented times I wanted to reach out to you to assure you that we as a company are doing our best to accommodate local guidelines.
We are monitoring our employees for any symptoms of Covid-19. If they have any of the symptoms listed on the CDC website, they will not come to work and will be instructed to isolate for 14 days. We continue to pay our employees should they be sent home. This will help eliminate the potential for an employee to feel forced to work while feeling under the weather.
We have equipped all crews with hand-sanitizing soap and solution as well as masks. They are instructed to wear the masks and wash their hands often during the day. The social distance is, of course, a priority for us and we are nearly always allowing only the driver in the cab of the truck. Fortunately, we have multiple pick-up trucks and separate man-cabs in trucks that allow for separation.
We monitor the NJ.gov website daily for any updates impacting our industry.
For our office staff, we have implemented staggered work hours for those few who need to access our computers directly. All others are working from home until further notice.
Please know that our priority as a company is the well-being of all our customers and employees. We are taking this threat very seriously and working diligently for the health and safety of our customers and employees.
